This website will provide you information related to Sathya Sai Baba, His Message, the Worldwide Sathya Sai Organization and the activities of the Sathya Sai Baba Center of Houston (South).

The main objective of the Sathya Sai Center is to help man recognize the Divinity that is inherent within him. It is established to translate the principles of love and nonviolence into daily practice?

PURPOSE OF SATHYA SAI CENTER

• To provide an environment to practice and exemplify the divine teachings of Sathya Sai Baba in order to encourage and assist people in leading spiritual lives.

• To engage in programs - devotional, educational, and service to progress along the spiritual path. These programs help us practice the universal values given to us by Sathya Sai Baba:Truth, Right Action, Inner Peace, Selfless Love, and Nonviolence.

• To share Swami?s teachings and to enable members in leading ideal and happy lives by living in Divine Love ? giving, receiving, and flourishing in His Love.

ACTIVITIES

Each Sunday, the Center activities include: Light (Jyothi) Meditation, Study Circle, Devotional Singing (Bhajans) all year, and Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) classes for children during the nine month school year. Books, video tapes, and audio tapes relating to Sathya Sai Baba (Swami) are available through the library services at the Center.

Every Sunday (unless otherwise announced) the following schedule of events takes place at the Sathya Sai Center of South Houston:

The following are the three main wings of the Sathya Sai Center of South Houston:

1. Devotional Program (there is an additional program for Young Adults)
2. Educational Program: Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) Program (for children)
3. Service Program (for all devotees)

A council consisting of a President, Vice-President, and Coordinators for the three wings ? Education, Service, and Devotion, are selected periodically as per Center guidelines. Additionally, there are two Young Adult (YA) Coordinators (male and female). The Council manages the activities of the Sai Center.
